In Queso Emergency Dip

Here is a Quick and easy recipe for a party Queso Dip. I cooked mine in a smoker for a little extra flavor. However an oven or crock pot will work just fine.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Bock VELVEETA Cheese, cubed

  • 2 14 oz cans Diced Tomatoes, drained

  • 3 links of Hot Italian Sausage

  • 1 small chopped White Onion

  • 2 minced garlic cloves

  • 1 finely diced Jalapeno

  • 1 Tablespoon favorite BBQ Rub.

INSTRUCTIONS

Remove Sausage from casing, add to skillet with onion. Cooking thoroughly, chop meat up until meat is browned and onions are translucent.

Add minced garlic cooking until fragrant. Remove from heat.

In separate oven safe pan combine Cheese, Tomatoes, Jalapeno, and BBQ Seasoning.

Add cooked meat, onions and garlic to pan. Stir to combine.

Place in Smoker at 250° (or oven/ crock pot) for two hours, stirring halfway.

Once finished remove from heart and serve with favorite Corn Chip.
