Quick Pickled Red Onion

These go perfect on just about everything cooked on the grill this summer, from Hot Dogs and Burgers to Pulled Pork and brisket.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 medium Red Onion Sliced

  • 1/2 cup White Vinegar

  • 1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar

  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar

  • 1 Tablespoon Salt

  • 1 Tablespoon Peppercorns

INSTRUCTIONS

Break apart Onion into rings cutting the bigger rings in half.

Pack into non reactive container (I use a wide mouth mason Jar, Makes storing and serving easier)

In sauce pot, combine all other ingredients on medium heat stirring until the sugar and salt are dissolved.

Pour hot mixture over the onions, making sure they are completely submerged.

Cover and let sit for one hour minimum before serving.
